This mezuzah reflects the concept of Hiddur Mitzvah - the uplifting of a mitzvah. A mezuzah is a home for the Sh’ma prayer and is meant to protect the home where it is hung as well as the home's inhabitants. It is one-of-a-kind and made of upcycled materials. While whimsical in design, is still serious in its intent. Made of upcycled Altoid boxes, gold leaf, acrylic paint, beads, and wire. Exhibited in a juried show at The Bernard Heller Museum of Hebrew Union College in 2025.
