This mezuzah reflects the concept of Hiddur Mitzvah - the uplifting of a mitzvah. A mezuzah is a home for the Sh’ma prayer and is meant to protect the home where it is hung as well as the home's inhabitants. It is one-of-a-kind and made of upcycled materials. While whimsical in design, is still serious in its intent. Made of upcycled Altoid boxes, gold leaf, acrylic paint, beads, and wire. Exhibited at The Bernard Heller Museum of Hebrew Union College in 2025
